Prodromos Paros

Near the Marmara village there is a picturesque village called Prodromos, located in Paros inland. This village is 15 kilometers away from Parikia, the capital of Paros, and 10 km away from Naoussa.
Prodromos took its name from the Church of Agios Ioannis Prodromos that exists in the village. Before that the village was called Dragoulas. At Prodromos you will have the opportunity to admire the traditional Cycladic architecture, with white-washed houses with blue windows, colorful flowers in the yards, small churches and traditional cafes. There are beautiful paved narrow alleys between the houses for a lovely walk and lots of photos.
A big festival is organized in the village on June 21st and it is visited by many locals and tourists.
