Drios beach Paros took its name from the beautiful coastal village, Drios, where it's located. Drios beach is quite short and it consists of thick sand and pebbles. This small area is not organized, so you shouldn't expect sunbeds and umbrelas. If you like a refreshment or a snack, there are taverns and a minimarket just above the beach.
For protection from the sun, there are trees on Drios beach Paros, just beside the small wall. You can take advantage of their shade, but be aware that the space there is just for few people.
East of Drios beach, you will see a tiny port for fishing boats, few meters away. If you walk to the port and look north, you will see another beach. This one is also not organized by it has more trees for protection from the summer sun, and it's also better protected from waves. Drios beach, as it's located in south coast of Paros, it's affected by south winds. Fortunately this is rare during the summer. During your sunbath you will see a small islet from the beach. It's called Drionissi and it also took its name from Drios village. During the days with good visibility you will see as far as Ios island.
As we mentioned before, there are taverns in Drios village, serving seafood and meat dishes. Therefore if you get hungry, there are places few meters away.
Drios beach Paros is located 22 km from Parikia, the capital of Paros, and 18 km from Naoussa. Just 1.5 km to the northeast from Drios beach Paros, there is the famous Golden Beach. You even can walk there, using the coastal trail.
