Aliki beach Paros, is a wonderful village on the south coast of the island. As a traditional fishing village, it's full with taverns and restaurants by the sea. The beach of Aliki is right in the center of the village. It consists of golden sand and clean water. You will find a limited number of umbrellas and sunbeds, but you won't have to worry about about the protection from the sun. There are many trees offering a natural shade, where you can lie on your towel.
While you swim in blue-green water, you will see many traditional fishing boats in front of you, called caique.
As Aliki beach Paros is facing south, you will rarely encounter waves there, especially during the summer months, when the wind comes from the north.
The beach is crowded usually with families that live in Aliki. After you spend few hours on the beach, you can have lunch or dinner in one of the restaurants. Seafood dishes are the specials here, so be prepared for fresh fish etc.
Aliki is located 15 km away from the capital of Paros, Parikia, and 27 km away from Naoussa. If you don't have a car or motorcycle, you can get there by bus from Parikia.
